Job summary

Orlando Health Lake Mary Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for Advanced Care Weekend Option Only. This part-time role supports day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) with a weekend option, in the LMH ED department.

Nurses provide high-level care for complex patients, including ECMO-supported units, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The position emphasizes strong critical care skills, certification requirements, and ongoing professional development within a premier acute care

Qualifications

Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
Maintains current State of Florida RN license or valid eNLC multistate RN license.
Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC are required for certain areas. NRP required for NICU.
1 year experience required unless approved by AVP level or above.

Responsibilities

Demonstrates knowledge, skills and judgement for patients with complex conditions and high-intensity needs.
Monitors and responds to rapidly changing patient conditions with evidence-based actions.
Assesses patient needs and develops individualized care plans.
Documents care and coordinates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safety and quality.
Works within unit standards and supports ECMO and advanced care responsibilities as assigned.
