Job summary

Orlando Health Lake Mary Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse, Advanced Care to administer high‑level patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. This role requires critical thinking, rapid response, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to stabilize and support patients with advanced illnesses or injuries.

The position involves 4x10 hour shifts per week, on-site work, and an emphasis on evidence-based practices, safety, and compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Active Florida RN license.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC required for certain areas (NRP for NICU).

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with advanced illness or injury in high-acuity units.
• Monitor, assess, and respond to changing patient conditions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient care and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Serve as a patient/family advocate and participate in education and support.
