Job summary

The Cardiology Section at VA Boston Healthcare System (VABHS) invites applications for a full-time Non-Invasive Cardiologist. The successful candidate will work in the echocardiography lab and general cardiology services, teaching medical students, residents, and fellows in both outpatient and inpatient settings.

There is potential involvement in advanced cardiac imaging studies such as cardiac CT, MRI, and nuclear imaging, depending on board certifications (CBCCT/CBCMR).

Qualifications

• MD degree from an approved school
• Current full and unrestricted medical license in the United States
• Board certification or eligibility in Cardiovascular Disease

Responsibilities

• Lead non-invasive cardiology services in echocardiography and general cardiology
• Engage in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows
• Participate in advanced cardiac imaging studies (CT, MRI, nuclear imaging) as certified
• Coordinate reports with Radiology and other cardiology specialists
• Academic appointment at Harvard Medical School commensurate with experience
