VCU Health in Williamsburg, VA seeks a General Cardiologist to provide comprehensive cardiology clinical care while supporting the department's academic mission in research and education. The role involves imaging, outpatient and consultative services within a multidisciplinary program.

Applicants should be BC/BE cardiologists, licensed in Virginia, and capable of teaching medical students and trainees; experience in research and CME participation is expected.

Formación

• BC/BE cardiologist with demonstrated skills in cardiovascular disease.
• Clinically oriented with research and teaching experience to be eligible for academic appointment
• Strong communication and ability to work with a large multidisciplinary program
• Participation in teaching and Fellowship programs
• Eligible for medical licensure in Virginia
• Commitment to professionalism and civility in a diverse academic environment

Responsabilidades

• Support teaching directly with Medical Assistant trainees and undergraduates; participate in CME programs.
• Support clinical research protocols as needed.
• Contribute to quality, safety and efficiency initiatives.
• Provide imaging, outpatient and consultative cardiology services.
• Submit billing and document care as required by the organization.
