Job summary

Coastal Medical Transportation Systems is seeking EMT-Cardiacs to join our growing team in Cranston, RI. You will deliver advanced life support ambulance care and respond to patient transport requests between healthcare facilities and other locations.

Qualified applicants hold Rhode Island EMT-Cardiac (AEMT-C) license, NREMT, ACLS, CPR/BLS, and a valid driver's license. The role offers hourly pay with shift differentials and a benefits-focused work environment.

Qualifications

• Current Rhode Island EMT-Cardiac (AEMT-C) license in good standing.
• Current NREMT certification at the applicable level.
• ACLS certification.
• CPR/BLS certification at the healthcare provider level.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass background checks, credentialing, and health requirements.
• Ability to work effectively in high-stress environments and demonstrate sound clinical judgment.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Ability to meet physical requirements of the position, including lifting and moving patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective ambulance-based medical care at the advanced life support level.
• Respond to requests for ambulance transport of patients between healthcare facilities and other locations.
• Respond to requests for emergency medical services.
