Job summary

Qualifications

• Certification as EMT-Paramedic by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.
• CPR - Basic Rescue certification (American Red Cross or American Heart Association).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Administers skilled medical care at the emergency scene and during transport.
• Obtains medical history, checks vital signs and informs on-call physician.
• Performs life support and uses advanced equipment as directed by physician.
• Triages, treats and transports patients; documents pre-hospital care for admission and database purposes.
