Job summary

Brigham and Women’s Harbor Medical Associates in South Weymouth is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer to independently perform comprehensive transthoracic echocardiograms (TTEs), portable cardiac studies, and contrast/bubble studies, delivering diagnostic-quality images for physician interpretation.

You will review patient histories, prior imaging, and clinical information to tailor exam protocols, prepare patients for procedures, and communicate preliminary findings to the interpreting physicians in

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate's degree in Sonography and active BLS certification.
• RCS (CCI) or RDCS (ARDMS) certification required.
• New Hampshire license (OPLC) is required upon hire for NH locations if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality transthoracic echocardiograms (TTEs) and related studies.
• Review patient histories and prior imaging to tailor exam protocols.
• Prepare equipment and exam rooms following safety and infection control standards.
• Document preliminary findings and communicate with interpreting physicians promptly.
• Support patient comfort and smooth workflow to ensure positive patient experiences.
• Participate in quality improvement and maintain productivity standards.
