Qualifications

• Associates degree in Electronics, Networking Technology or related field, or high school diploma with two years of experience.
• Two years of experience in a network-related field.
• Fundamental LAN architecture understanding; troubleshooting VLANs, IP addressing, and cabling issues.
• Hands-on experience installing, mounting, cabling, and maintaining network hardware.
• Knowledge of network vulnerability remediation and basic security best practices.
• Exposure to Cisco technologies and firmware updates.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Setup and install network hardware and software such as switches, routers, and access points.
• Assist in upgrading existing network systems.
• Plan and maintain campus network cabling infrastructure.
• Install new network gear in construction projects.
• Resolve routine network problems and maintain documentation and inventory.
• Ensure current configuration documentation exists for all critical systems.
• Assist in patching and vulnerability remediation.
