Job summary

Grease Monkey International in Suwanee, GA is seeking an Experienced Technician C to perform brakes, oil changes, fluid services and more. You will explain preventive maintenance to customers and work under supervision with a team-oriented shop culture.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, testing driveability, documenting work, and maintaining shop tools and safety practices; valid driver's license and state emissions/vehicle inspector credentials where applicable are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers.
• Valid Driver's License
• State Emission Certification- if applicable in your state
• State Vehicle Inspector Certification- if applicable in your state

Responsibilities

• Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Diagnoses vehicle problems based on customer complaints and inspection.
• Examines assigned vehicles to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
• Documents all work performed and recommended. Road tests vehicles as needed.
• Keeps the shop areas neat, clean and organized.
• Understands, and comply with federal, state and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal and OSHA Right-to-Know.
