Manheim in Oceanside, CA is hiring an Automotive Technician II to perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, maintenance and inspections across a variety of vehicles. The role offers Mon-Fri day shift, a $1,500 tool bonus for new hires, and hourly pay between $26.44 and $39.71, with the final rate based on location, experience and ASE certification status.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED with 3 years of related work experience; or any degree or certification above a high school diploma/GED with one year of related work experience; or 5 years of related work experience without a degree.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
• Ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles

Responsabilidades

• Perform highly skilled maintenance and repairs across a wide range of vehicle systems.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and drivability issues, including brakes, tires, suspension and related components.
• Conduct advanced diagnostics and repairs across key systems, including starting and charging, AC, OBDII and electrical systems.
• Complete detailed mechanical inspections, including required measurements, and document any deficiencies across interior, exterior, engine and driveline components.
• Maintain compliance with safety and environmental standards, including proper handling of recyclables, fluids, tires and waste.
• Assist with upfitting new vehicles with required equipment.
• Source and manage parts through approved vendors.
• Support additional service needs, including OEM recall work as required.
