Job summary

Asbury Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Service Technician in Fort Worth, TX to diagnose and repair vehicles, perform routine maintenance, and ensure quality service while upholding safety and CSI targets. Ideal candidates have hands-on experience, own basic tools, and demonstrate strong mechanical skills; ASE and manufacturer certifications are strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive technician experience required.
• ASE certifications heavily preferred.
• Manufacturer certifications heavily preferred.
• Must have basic tools.

Responsibilities

• Make accurate use of the multi-point inspection form on each vehicle.
• Document all work performed and recommended on assigned repair order.
• Communicate with service advisor when additional work is needed or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
• Maintain technician proficiency as specified by Asbury standards.
• Conduct road test to determine work needed and to confirm work was completed.
• Perform all levels of diagnosis and repair on vehicles.
