DriveTime Car Sales, LLC is seeking an automotive technician to maintain and repair DriveTime inventory vehicles at our Fort Worth service center. You will inspect, diagnose, and perform advanced repairs, conduct state emissions testing as required, move vehicles, and document work in DriveTime systems.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years in automotive repair with a trade certificate, valid driver’s license, and good communication.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Certificate or AAS in automotive technology or equivalent with 3+ years experience.
• Proficient in automotive repairs and troubleshooting basic concerns.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform advanced vehicle repairs and maintenance on DriveTime inventory vehicles.
• Conduct emissions testing applicable to state inspections.
• Move vehicles and manage inventory.
• Document all work performed in DriveTime systems.
• Explain automotive repairs and issues to management to minimize re-work and delays in production.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe work area to meet compliance standards.
