DriveTime Family of Brands is hiring an automotive service technician responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and performing advanced vehicle repairs and maintenance on DriveTime inventory. You will perform emissions testing where applicable, document repairs, and ensure a clean, safe work area while meeting performance targets.

The role requires High School Diploma or GED and automotive tech training. Candidates should be able to use basic computer systems and communicate repair issues

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in automotive repairs.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic automotive concerns.
• Explain causes and corrections clearly to management to minimize re-work.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform advanced vehicle repairs and maintenance.
• Perform emissions testing and state inspections where applicable.
• Move vehicles, manage inventory, document repairs in DT systems.
• Explain issues and recommended corrections to management to minimize re-work and delays.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work area.
• Operate basic computer systems for repair documentation and work orders.
