Job summary

DriveTime Car Sales, LLC is seeking an automotive technician to inspect, diagnose, and repair a variety of vehicles. You will perform maintenance, emissions tests where applicable, document work in DriveTime systems, and ensure safety and compliance.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent), 3+ years of automotive repair experience or an automotive tech certificate/associate degree, and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 3+ years in automotive repair or an automotive tech certificate/associate degree.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to lift up to 60 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform advanced vehicle repairs and maintenance.
• Perform emissions testing and state inspections where applicable.
• Move vehicles, manage inventory, and document work in DriveTime systems.
• Explain repairs and recommended corrections to management to minimize re-work.
• Keep work area clean and maintain safety and compliance.
