Job summary

NHE, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for Ashley Pointe in Beaufort, SC.

You will perform diverse maintenance tasks, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance work, while coordinating with the Community Manager and Maintenance Supervisor to keep units, common areas, and equipment in optimal condition. You will manage make-ready schedules, respond to resident requests, and assist with inventory, vendor coordination, and preventive maintenance per the company schedule.

Qualifications

• General apartment maintenance experience required
• Ability to troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliances
• Must hold valid driver’s license and transport to sites
• EPA refrigerant certification required to purchase/recover refrigerants
• Certified CAMT or equivalent certifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks for the apartment community.
• Coordinate and schedule make-readies and Work Orders.
• Assist in exterior grounds and curb appeal maintenance.
• Complete assignments with Community Manager and Maintenance Supervisor.
• Prepare vacant units for move-in and coordinate with vendors for warranty work.
• Conduct preventive maintenance per NHE schedule and monitor budget.
