Bass Pro Shops in Flippin, AR is seeking an Aluminum Welder to join our Advanced Welder team. You will weld, cut, and braze metal parts with pneumatic grinders and hand welding tools, following precise instructions and safety measures.

Responsibilities include planning work orders, assembling and tack welding, and maintaining equipment. Requires a high school diploma, welding cert, and at least 1 year of welding experience; entry-level welding training is acceptable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Welding certification from technical/trade school required.
• 1 year welding experience at similar facility preferred; minimum 6 months as Entry Welder at current facility.

Responsibilities

• Plans details of work orders; gathers tools and materials as required.
• Repairs and fabricates items using cutting, burning and welding techniques.
• Monitors welding, burning, and fitting to prevent heat damage, distortion or warping.
• Prepares, assembles and tack welds surfaces to be welded.
• Maintains, organizes, and cleans equipment and work area.
• Notifies supervisor of faulty equipment or materials.
