Bass Pro Shops is seeking an Advanced Welder to join our team in Arkansas. The role involves welding, cutting, and brazing metal parts using pneumatic grinding and hand welding equipment, while ensuring quality and consistency across production.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, welding certification, and 1 year of welding experience with preferred apprenticeship or in-house training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Welding certification from technical college or trade school required.
• 1 year welding experience at similar facility preferred; 6 months in role as Entry Welder at current facility; apprenticeship or in-company training completed.

Responsibilities

• Plan details of work orders; gather required tools and materials.
• Repair and fabricate items using cutting, burning, and welding.
• Monitor welding process to prevent overheating, warping or distortion.
• Prepare, assemble and tack weld parts and surfaces.
• Maintain, organize and clean equipment and work area.
• Notify supervisor of faulty equipment or materials.
• All other duties as assigned.
