Job summary

Blue Origin LLC in Huntsville, Alabama is seeking an experienced Additive Manufacturing Technician to join our Operations team and support metal AM processes. The role involves setting up, operating, and monitoring AM machines, recording materials and build data, and ensuring safety standards on the production floor.

Travel to Blue Origin sites for two- to three-week training and collaboration with programmers, schedulers, machinists, and technicians across centers is required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years hands-on Metallic Additive Manufacturing production experience.
• Associate degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing Technology, Electromechanical, Optics, Lasers, Machining, etc.
• 4+ years manufacturing experience in an advanced technology operations environment.
• Proven ability to operate with complex AM processes and equipment.
• Ability to work shifts, travel for training, and use MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Operate AM machinery safely, including PIT equipment and cranes.
• Follow work instructions and document each work order.
• Review and document control media and data for each shift.
• Interface with programmers, schedulers, machinists, and technicians across centers.
• Travel to other Blue Origin sites for two- to three-week training assignments.
• Maintain a healthy, clean, and organized work area; wear PPE.
