Job summary

Channel ABA is seeking compassionate Behavioral Health Technicians to join our Enhanced Program serving children and adolescents with complex needs across Central Pennsylvania.

You will implement ABA treatment plans under BCBA supervision, teach essential communication and daily living skills, and collect data to monitor progress while collaborating with caregivers and the clinical team. Weekend and evening availability required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, social work, human services or related field preferred.
• RBT certification preferred with 40-hour RBT training completed.
• Experience with children/adolescents with complex behavior challenges preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain all required clearances and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Implement ABA treatment plans under supervision to support clients.
• Teach communication, social, adaptive living, self-regulation and daily living skills.
• Work at client locations across Central Pennsylvania with potential travel.
• Collect accurate behavioral and skill data and track progress.
• Collaborate with BCBA, caregivers and interdisciplinary team members.
• Attend ongoing training, supervision, and professional development.
• Apply crisis prevention, de-escalation and safety procedures when needed.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Human Services, or related field

Registered Behavior Technician Certification (RBT) Certification

Completion of 40-hour RBT Training

Experience working with children and adolescents with complex behavior challenges

Experience supporting individuals with autism or other developmental delays

Ability to obtain and maintain all required clearances, training, and certifications
