Job summary

Coshocton Public Library seeks an Adult Services staff member to assist the Adult Services Manager in delivering programs and services to adults from 18 through seniors. This role includes planning programming, curating displays, cataloging, and helping at public service points with a focus on reader's advisory and community engagement.

The position is full-time, non-exempt, and requires a flexible schedule including some evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for public and staff.
• Ability to plan and execute adult programming and reader's advisory services.

Responsibilities

• Develops and brings creative adult programming; facilitates programming at multiple sites.
• Plans and decorates adult service areas; creates welcoming public spaces.
• Performs Dewey Decimal cataloging for adult items; supports interlibrary loan activities.
• Assists with Summer Reading Program; supports onboarding of new hires in the adult area.
