Harnett County Public Library is seeking an Adult Services Outreach Coordinator to expand access to library resources for adults in the community. You will develop outreach strategies, collaborate with senior centers, schools, and organizations, and promote lifelong learning and engagement.

Responsibilities include delivering sessions on library resources, coordinating offsite programming, and assisting with collection development to meet diverse adult needs.

Qualificações

• Associate's degree in library science or Bachelor's in adult education or related field.
• Proven experience in adult services, community outreach, or a similar role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging adults of diverse backgrounds.
• Valid North Carolina driver's license.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and assess needs of adult populations and design outreach programs.
• Engage with community organizations to provide library services.
• Develop outreach strategies to reach underserved adults.
• Represent the library at events and deliver sessions on resources and digital literacy.
• Coordinate offsite adult programming and events.
• Collaborate with partners to offer targeted programs for adults.
• Distribute promotional materials to promote library services.
• Assist with collection development for adult patrons.
• Provide reader’s advisory, circulation, and homebound deliveries.
• Assist patrons in navigating digital resources and technology devices.
