Job summary

The incumbent will supervise volunteers, teach basic technology classes, and assist with library marketing and social media. Evening/weekend hours and a pre-employment check are required. This on-site position serves the Caldwell community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• At least two years of experience performing library tasks.
• Pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Evening and weekend hours required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Adult Services Librarian with developing, coordinating and implementing special programs and events.
• Provide reference assistance and help customers select materials.
• Lead outreach training on library resources through workshops.
• Supervise and train volunteers as instructed.
• Develop and conduct classes on emerging technology resources and troubleshoot computer problems.
• Assist with library marketing and social media management.
• Oversee public services during weekend and evening hours.
• Process interlibrary loan requests.
• Respond to information requests from agencies and the public.
