Amenia Free Library in Amenia, NY is hiring an Adult Programming Assistant to create and manage the library’s adult programming schedule and assist at the Circulation Desk. You will engage a broad patron base, from young adults to seniors, and help develop new programs.

The role requires multitasking, strong communication, and the ability to work under supervision of the Library Director. 2–3 Saturdays per month, part-time hours, and competitive pay apply.

Formación

• HS diploma or GED required; associate/bachelor preferred.
• Strong computer skills; proficient with email, Google and Microsoft products.
• Must be able to bend, lift, and carry library materials up to 40 lbs.; background check required.

Responsabilidades

• Create, organize, and execute the adult programming schedule.
• Staff the Circulation Desk and assist patrons with services.
• Multitask and collaborate to boost library offerings.
