Job summary

Monroe County Community College seeks an Adult Learner Engagement Coordinator to coordinate campus and community activities that recruit adult learners and reflect their voices in college resources. You will represent MCC at events, develop relationships, and oversee programs designed to support adult learners both on and off campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Experience with college recruiting, admissions, sales preferred.
• Customer Relationship Management experience preferred.
• Experience working with adult learners.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate campus and community activities to recruit adult learners.
• Represent MCC at community events and reflect learner voices in resources.
• Develop and implement events and programs to engage adult learners.
• Oversee student interns for in-person outreach visits.
• Maintain electronic enrollment notes in CRM and use Microsoft Suite to support students.
• Build relationships with local agencies and community organizations.
• Communicate with recruitment-eligible students and assist onboarding/referrals.
• Assist in ensuring academic support across campus by referring students to resources.
• Support educational jail program meetings and activities.
• Attend community events during non-traditional hours, including some evenings/weekends.
• Contribute to the Division of Student Success and participate in other duties as assigned.
