Job summary

Johns Hopkins Medicine's Home Health Services is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide skilled nursing care in patients' homes under the supervision of an RN. You will plan and deliver care, teach patients and caregivers, and coordinate services with the agency and community to support health goals.

The role requires an active Maryland LPN license, 2–3 years of clinical experience, CPR certification, and a valid Maryland driver's license with access to a reliable vehicle.

Qualifications

• Maryland LPN license is active and in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience; 3 years preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.

The Home Health Services LPN provides, skilled nursing care for a group of patients usually in the setting of the patient's home under the supervision of an RN. Employs the nursing process to perform skilled care for patients requiring in-home health and support services. In addition to specific and skilled treatments and procedures, the LPN provides health teaching to patients and care givers, preventive health screening, referral and coordination of services in the agency and the community, and advocacy for the patient in obtaining health-related goals. The Licensed Practical Nurse ensures adequate service provision, including scheduling of visits, based on patients' identified needs and priorities for care under the direction of an RN. Complies with all Home Care policies and procedures.

Work Location: Anne Arundel County

Work Hours: must be available from 8:30a-5p. However, patient visit times are flexible.

Who Should Apply?

• An LPN with an active License in the state of Maryland
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience required. 3 years preferred
• Current CPR Certification
• Valid Maryland Drivers\' License and current auto insurance. Must have working vehicle, agreement to comply with Maryland Law for mandatory seatbelt use.

Salary Range: Minimum 28.91/hour - Maximum 44.99/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
