Job summary

Damar Services, Inc. in Indianapolis is seeking dedicated Direct Support Professionals to assist adults with developmental disabilities in our village homes. You will supervise clients, support daily living skills, and help them achieve their goals in a caring, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old to work in Community Living and Support Services.
• Must provide formal proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid Indiana driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Clear background with no disqualifying criminal convictions; pre-employment physical.
• Favorable background screening results required by Damar.

Damar is looking for passionate Direct Support Professionals to perform a variety of tasks related to the care of Adult clients living in our Damar Villages. Some duties include client supervision and care, crisis management, promoting appropriate social behaviors, and supporting clients in achieving their maximum potential.

We are hiring for the following shifts

• 2nd Shift (3pm - 11:30pm)

What You Need To Be Considered

• Be at least 18 to work in our Community Living and Support Services program
• Be able to provide formal proof of a high school diploma or GED
• Possess a valid Indiana driver’s license and good driving record
• Be clear of any felony convictions, substantiated charges of neglect or other disqualifying criminal convictions
• Successfully complete a pre-employment physical
• Favorably meet and maintain Damar’s background screening
