Job summary

Goodwill of Colorado in Aurora is seeking an Instructor/Teacher for The Excel Center to deliver Colorado-aligned curriculum to adult learners 22+. This full-time, in-person role requires fostering student-centered learning with grit and innovation.

The Instructor will design lessons, assess progress, analyze data, and collaborate on curriculum to meet educational objectives and support students toward graduation. Bilingual English/Spanish is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in subject specialty; 2 years teaching experience post licensing preferred.
• Current Colorado Teaching Certification in subject specialty; dual licensure preferred.
• Experience working with adult learners in urban/nontraditional settings preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement curricula and activities to meet Colorado standards and adapt for adult learners.
• Design and implement assessments to measure progress toward standards.
• Track and analyze classroom data to refine curriculum and inform instruction.
• Collaborate with instructional team to improve student retention and graduation outcomes.
• Communicate student progress with students and colleagues; coordinate with support staff.
• Support students' progress toward graduation and post-secondary planning.
