Job summary

Excel Center West in Indianapolis seeks an experienced English Instructor to implement and develop The Excel Center curriculum for its adult education program. You will facilitate diverse learning methods, tailor instruction, and use a student-centered approach to support graduation and postsecondary planning.

Responsibilities include designing curricula, monitoring progress with data, and collaborating with the instructional team to raise achievement while aligning with state standards and 21st

Qualifications

• Designs curricula and assessments meeting Indiana Academic Standards, CCSS, and 21st Century Skills.
• Builds lessons around student needs, including online tools and content.
• Identifies and tracks data to drive goals and feedback.
• Engages students and communicates progress with staff to ensure success.

Responsibilities

• Designs and implements curricula and assessments to meet standards and measure progress toward mastery.
• Builds lessons around student needs using online tools and content.
• Communicates student progress to students and colleagues, partnering to ensure success.
• Works with leadership to implement school-wide goals around graduation outcomes and enrollment.
