Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in the subject area being taught.
• Current Maryland Teaching License or certification in the subject area.
• Ability to obtain required certification within one year may be considered for provisional employment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, standards-based instruction aligned with Maryland Academic Standards.
• Develop lesson plans and activities for diverse learner needs.
• Utilize multiple instructional methods (direct instruction, small groups, one-on-one, online, self-paced).
• Design and administer assessments to measure progress and mastery.
• Differentiate instruction to support varying skill levels.
• Maintain a student-centered approach focused on engagement and achievement.
• Monitor attendance and academic performance data and inform decisions.
