Job summary

The Excel Center, operated by Goodwill Education Initiatives, is seeking a Math Instructor to deliver the Excel Center curriculum and support adult learners toward an Indiana Core 40 diploma. The role emphasizes student-centered instruction, data-driven progress, and collaboration with instructional staff.

Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s in the subject area and Indiana teaching certification (or willingness to obtain an emergency license).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a subject specialty and a current Indiana Teaching Certification, or willingness to obtain an emergency license.
• Ability to design and implement curricula meeting Indiana standards and Common Core.
• Strong communication skills and collaboration with instructional team.

Responsibilities

• Designs and implements curricula and assessments aligned with Indiana Academic Standards and 21st Century Skills.
• Identifies and tracks student progress and adjusts strategies accordingly.
• Maintains a high-performance culture and supports student graduation outcomes.
