Job summary

Carroll Hospital's Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) offer structured, short-term treatment for adolescents who need more support than traditional outpatient therapy but do not require 24-hour inpatient care.

Our program is LGBTQ2S-affirming, gender-affirming, trauma-informed, and trauma-responsive, providing inclusive and culturally competent care for all adolescents and families.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related behavioral health field.
• Active Maryland licensure required or eligible.
• Licensure strongly preferred: LCSW-C, LCPC, LCMFT; LMSW/LGPC/LGMFT considered for experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments with adolescents and families.
• Facilitate daily group therapy sessions focusing on skills, regulation, and coping.
• Deliver LGBTQ2S-affirming, gender-affirming, trauma-informed care.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, and staff for coordinated care.
• Engage families to support treatment goals and continuity at home.
• Incorporate DBT-informed approaches and monitor progress with the team.
• Document assessments, groups, and progress notes per standards.
