Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to do hard physical labor.
• Must hold a NC Driver's License.
• Weekend, evening, and holiday work required as needed.
• Able to operate forklift and farm equipment; learn to use high pressure sprayer.

Responsibilities

• Oversee loading/unloading of trailers and scheduling to meet shipping needs.
• Maintain sanitation and biosecurity; clean vehicles and equipment with high pressure spray.
• Operate or learn forklift and other farm equipment as directed.
• Assist with grounds and facility upkeep and spill response tasks.
• Follow Smithfield's safety systems and company policies.
