Job summary

Discord seeks an Ad Operations Manager to scale our ads business across campaigns, partners, and client relationships. You will optimize campaign execution, provide data-driven insights, and collaborate with product and engineering to improve our advertising capabilities.

With 3–5+ years in digital advertising, you will leverage AI workflows, SQL and Python to build tooling, run A/B tests, and deliver ROI for customers. Relocation support for the SF Bay Area is available.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in digital advertising or ad operations.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools (LLM-based workflows, scripting/automation) to drive efficiency.
• SQL required; Python or similar strongly preferred for tooling and reporting.
• Knowledge of a broad range of ad technologies, campaign operations, and measurement solutions.
• Experience partnering with Engineering/Product on technical escalations or integrations.
• Proven track record with direct client work and delivering value.
• Strong analytical skills to query data and provide insights.
• Familiarity with KPIs like viewability, brand safety, yield analysis, and audience extension.
• Excellent communication and collaboration in fast-changing, cross-functional environments.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring ad campaigns are implemented and launched on time and to specification.
• Providing hands-on technical support to key customers and ad sales partners.
• Partnering with account teams to optimize campaign outcomes and ROI.
• Synthesizing campaign performance insights for internal stakeholders and clients.
• Building automations and tooling to reduce manual effort and scale operations.
• Serving as the operational engine for revenue-driving functions across the business.
