Job summary

PAWS Chicago and Chicago Animal Care & Control (CACC) have partnered on 360@CACC to deliver lifesaving support across the full journey of homeless and at-risk pets. This role centers on coordinating adoptions, guiding volunteers, and expanding 360@CACC programming.

Based full-time at CACC, the Coordinator leads adoption efforts, coaches volunteers, and oversees Rescue Ready and new outreach initiatives with pausing growth and collaboration with PAWS Chicago staff.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer-service-focused management experience.
• Experience coordinating adoptions and volunteers/interns.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead adoption and volunteer activities at CACC with empathy.
• Coach volunteers and interns to improve adoption outcomes.
• Plan and staff community events for pet resources and outreach.
• Support the Rescue Ready program and medical-resource coordination.
• Monitor program data and report trends to leadership.
