Job summary

PAWS Chicago in Chicago, IL seeks an Associate, Adoption Services to greet guests, volunteers, and adopters at the Lincoln Park Adoption Center, delivering exceptional service and supporting daily adoption operations. This role works closely with staff to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience.

The Associate will review applications, discuss animal needs, and use Shelterluv, Salesforce, and Volgistics to manage adoptions and schedules while promoting PAWS Chicago’s no-kill mission.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering excellent customer service at an adoption center.
• Ability to explain pet ownership policies and training suggestions clearly.
• Familiar with CRM systems and volunteer coordination tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to adopters, volunteers, and visitors.
• Review adoption applications and guide clients in animal selection.
• Perform opening/closing duties and process adoptions with web tools.
