Job summary

Brightpoint is seeking a Clinical Supervisor (Adoption Support and Preservation) in Chicago, IL to provide clinical leadership and oversight for services supporting adoptive and subsidized guardianship families. The role requires a Master’s degree in a clinical field and IL licensure (LCSW/LCPC/LMFT), with at least two years of relevant experience.

Hybrid work arrangement and strong emphasis on trauma-informed care are included.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related clinical field.
• Current clinical licensure in Illinois (LCSW, LCPC or LMFT) required.
• At least two years’ experience providing clinical services with mandated clients and/or children and families in a managed care or community-based setting.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the impact of trauma on individuals and families.
• Training and experience in utilizing evidence-based treatment to address trauma.
• Experience in public speaking/training preferred.
• Knowledge of family systems issues including domestic violence, child welfare, substance abuse and psychiatric care.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, current auto insurance and access to a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement program plans ensuring compliance with licensing, funding, billing and accreditation standards.
• Arrange and coordinate evidence-based clinical services by providers and address concerns with internal/external parties.
• Manage personnel actions including hires, appraisals, leaves, promotions, and terminations.
• Supervise and evaluate assigned staff regularly.
• Provide clinical supervision to unlicensed staff.
• Possibly manage a caseload of up to 10 clients and families.
• Complete accurate clinical and funder reports and data entry for monitoring and accreditation.
• Meet Medicaid billing requirements where applicable.
• Document clinical supervision for each case and maintain records.
• Provide individual and team case consultations.
