Child & Family Services seeks a Post Adoption Worker to support adoptive and guardianship families with home-based services, stabilization, and advocacy. The role emphasizes collaboration with a regional team to provide psycho-social assessments and connections to long-term resources.

The position requires a bachelor’s in social work and at least three years in advocacy or casework; a master’s degree is preferred. Travel is required; a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field with a minimum of three years’ advocacy/casework experience.
• Master’s level candidate preferred.
• Knowledge of family systems; adoption experience desirable.
• Cultural competency qualifications and ability to communicate across cultures.

Mansioni

• Participate in Regional Response Team providing home-based intensive family stabilization for adoptive/guardianship families.
• Provide strengths-based psychosocial assessment of family needs and resources.
• Maintain flexible work schedule to meet client needs.
• Coordinate to help families access long-term supportive services.
• Provide information/referral to families and professionals.
