Job summary

KidsPeace invites you to join our mission-driven team providing hope, help, and healing to children, adults and families. The Permanency Specialist works directly with kids and families to assist in achieving life-long connections, including adoption.

Meet with children and families to complete units of service as referred by the Statewide Adoption Network, and participate in adoption-related processes and finalization with a supportive, team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or Human Services field.
• 1-2 years experience in the child welfare system preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Valid driver’s license and registered vehicle, able to work independently in the field.
• Must be 21.

Responsibilities

• Meet with children and families to complete units of service as referred by the Statewide Adoption Network including Child Profiles, Family Profiles, Child Preparation, Child Specific Recruitment, and Adoption Finalization.
