Job summary

KidsPeace seeks a Permanency Specialist to work directly with children and families to help achieve lifelong connections, including adoption. The role involves meeting with families, preparing profiles, and finalizing adoptions within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or Human Services field.
• 1–2 years experience in the child welfare system preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Valid driver’s license and registered vehicle; able to work independently in the field.

Responsibilities

• Meet with children and families to complete units of service as referred by the Statewide Adoption Network including Child Profiles, Family Profiles, Child Preparation, Child Specific Recruitment, and Adoption Finalization.
