PAWS Chicago seeks a Manager, Adoption Services to lead the Lincoln Park Adoption Center, guiding staff and volunteers while ensuring a welcoming retail-like guest experience for adopters and visitors. The role drives adoption processes, coaching, and operational excellence to support our mission of connecting homeless animals with loving homes.

This position oversees onboarding, training, and performance of Adoption Service Associates, while maintaining Salesforce/Shelterluv proficiency and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 3 years of customer service-focused management experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills required.
• Experience with web-based CRM technology preferred.
• Ability to coach and develop staff.
• Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment.
• Weekend and evening availability.

Responsibilities

• Set a positive tone at the Lincoln Park Adoption Center.
• Oversee day-to-day adoptions process and customer experience.
• Hire and develop Adoption Service Associates.
• Train and coach teams to provide exceptional service.
• Manage resources and time effectively.
• Complete daily operational tasks and reporting.
• Create training SOPs.
• Manage Internship program.
• Partner with Volunteer Management Team.
• Act as Manager On Duty for Lincoln Park.
