Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, or comparable human services field.
• Possession of a valid Florida driver’s license to operate the motor vehicle operated. Requirement exists at the time of hire and as a condition of continued employment.
• Child Protection Professional (CPP) certification or CPP eligible.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct case work prerequisite to adoption for adoption goal children and families adopting children, including home studies and referrals.
• Completes quarterly and monthly home visits and documents them within 48 hours.
• Maintains up‑to‑date information for all assigned recruit children on Explore Adoption with photos and memos.
• Prepares judicial review reports addressing child safety, well‑being and permanency.
• Attends court hearings and testifies regarding progress toward permanency.
• Assists with documentation and reports to ensure legal compliance and timely submission.
