Job summary

gpac is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for a respected Texas healthcare facility. The ADON will lead and mentor nursing staff, oversee daily operations, and ensure high‑quality resident care in line with federal and state regulations.

The ideal candidate is an LPN or RN with strong leadership and communication skills, CPR certified, and ready to collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams to implement best practices and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Active LPN or RN license (Wisconsin preferred or able to obtain).
Current CPR certification.
Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations.
Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a SNF.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff to foster a positive and effective care environment.
Assist in overseeing daily nursing operations within the facility.
Ensure delivery of high-quality resident care in compliance with federal and Wisconsin state regulations.
Build strong relationships with residents, families, and interdisciplinary care teams.
Support implementation of best practices and continuous improvements in clinical care.
Assist the Director of Nursing with staffing, training, and performance management initiatives.
Help maintain accurate documentation and regulatory compliance.
