Job summary

gpac is assisting a respected Texas healthcare facility in finding an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join its leadership team. The ADON will mentor nursing staff and support daily operations to ensure high-quality resident care while maintaining compliance with regulations.

The ideal candidate is an LPN or RN with strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, committed to compassionate resident-centered care and continuous improvement in a collaborative

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license in Wisconsin (or ability to obtain)
• Current CPR certification
• Strong knowledge of federal and Wisconsin state long-term care regulations
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) preferred
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• A compassionate approach with a commitment to high-quality resident care

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff to foster a positive and effective care environment
• Assist in overseeing daily nursing operations within the facility
• Ensure delivery of high-quality resident care in compliance with federal and Wisconsin state regulations
• Build strong relationships with residents, families, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Support implementation of best practices and continuous improvements in clinical care
• Assist the Director of Nursing with staffing, training, and performance management initiatives
• Help maintain accurate documentation and regulatory compliance
