Job summary

The Summit of Edgewood is actively seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to supervise nursing operations and ensure quality resident care in line with state and federal regulations. The ADON will oversee direct reports and assist the DON in daily leadership of clinical staff.

You will maintain nursing policies, analyze clinical KPIs, coordinate scheduling, and ensure accurate EMR data in YARDI, while providing compassionate, resident-centered care in a Memory Care/Assisted Living

Qualifications

• Three+ years nursing experience in Assisted Living/Memory Care or health care.
• Two+ years supervisory/management experience with direct care staff.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and implement nursing policies and procedures reflecting current standards and regulations.
• Manage and analyze processes, KPIs and clinical data for optimal performance.
• Communicate and interpret policies to nursing staff; monitor implementation and results.
• Conduct assessments to determine level of care for residents as directed by the DON.
• Oversee 24-hour reports and respond to significant changes in condition, transfers or incidents.
• Maintain up-to-date resident clinical data in EMR system (YARDI).
• Scheduling and On-Call duties.
