Job summary
Witt/Kieffer seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) - RN for Veterans Victory House, Walterboro, SC. The role supports the DON in planning and development of the Nursing Department to ensure the highest quality of care for our Nation's Heroes.
The ADON supervises clinical staff, upholds federal/state standards, and fosters a collaborative environment. A RN license, nursing degree, and leadership experience in healthcare are required; position is full-time with opportunities for
Qualifications
- Must hold a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
- Must have 3 years of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, long-term care facility, or other related health care facility.
- Must have 6 months training experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
- Must possess a current, unencumbered RN license to practice in this state.
- Must be able to make independent decisions when warranted.
- Must be able to deal tactfully with residents, families, staff and the public.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) in planning, organization and development of the Nursing Department.
- Work with clinical staff to ensure high quality care in accordance with standards and regulations.
