Job summary

Aviata Health Group in Largo, Florida seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing, RN (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing in daily clinical operations and regulatory compliance. The ADON will lead nursing staff and focus on quality of care and patient outcomes.

Ideal candidates hold an active RN license with 2–3 years of supervisory experience in skilled nursing or long-term care, and demonstrate leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of regulatory standards and healthcare compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in managing nursing staff and operations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Monitor and improve quality of care and patient outcomes.
• Support staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
• Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary meetings.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reporting.
