Apploi in Connecticut is seeking a full-time Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to ensure attentive and efficient care in our skilled nursing facility and assist in overseeing overall operations.

The ADON will support planning, organizing, and implementing nursing procedures, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead nursing staff with a focus on quality patient care and ongoing staff development.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Active CPR certification.
• Proven experience as Charge RN in SNF.
• Understanding of budgeting and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of legal regulations and best practices in healthcare.
• Willingness to keep abreast of changing standards in nursing administration.
• Excellent ability to lead and develop personnel.
• Great communication and people skills.
• Outstanding organizational and stress management skills.
• Aptitude in problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Maintain standards of the nursing homes.
• Help to hire, train, teach, and monitor nurses.
• Ensure smooth operation of the nursing department.
• Assist in budget preparation and expense management.
