PACS Group is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing in directing licensed and non-licensed staff who provide 24/7 health care to residents in a long-term care setting.

The ADON will help plan and supervise nursing services, participate in policy development, and assist with recruitment, training, and staff evaluations while safeguarding resident safety and rights and maintaining confidentiality.

Formación

• BSN from an accredited school; actively licensed.
• 3–5 years of nurse management experience in long-term care.
• Must maintain current state nursing license and continuing education requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the DON in planning, developing and supervising nursing staff.
• Develop and implement nursing services, objectives, policies and procedures.
• Recruit, hire and train nursing staff; conduct appraisals and address disciplinary matters.
• Oversee clinical operations; make daily rounds and monitor resident conditions.
• Ensure resident safety and rights; liaise with families and physicians.
• Attend staff meetings and provide reports to the DON.
