Job summary
Los Altos Post Acute is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing day-to-day nursing department operations. The role focuses on ensuring high-quality care and compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements include an active RN license with CPR/BLS, minimum 2 years of supervisory experience, and knowledge of rehabilitative nursing practices. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
Qualifications
- Valid RN license in good standing with current CPR and BLS certifications.
- Minimum 2 years’ supervisor experience in health care setting.
- Minimum 6 months experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
- Outstanding oral and written communication; strong organizational and time management skills.
Responsibilities
- Monitors scheduling and staffing to meet daily patient care requirements.
- Aids nursing staff with admissions, medication passes, wound care, etc.
