Job summary

Star City Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) (RN) to lead the nursing team in the absence of the director, supervising, delegating and evaluating nursing activities to ensure patient comfort and high-quality care.

The ADON will hire and train nurses, manage clinical operations and care plans, assist in budgeting, conduct patient rounds, address complaints and train staff.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered RN license to practice in Virginia.
• Minimum two years of supervisory experience in a nursing care facility.
• Infection Preventionist Certificate preferred.
• Organize, develop and direct Nursing Service operations per standards and regulations.

Responsibilities
